Thank you to everyone who came to the preview on Friday 25th September, visited the VIP page to check out the new work or sent me lovely messages saying how much you love The Childhood Garden.
Previews and open studios take a lot of preparation and I always feel a heady mixture of nerves and excitement ahead of the grand reveal. Putting new art there can feel quite exposing, especially when it's as personal as this collection. It was amazing to talk to visitors about gardens of their youth, how they connect with art and how much they love the art they've bought from me before.

Listening Ears
When you first touch a leaf on a Lambs’ Ear plant, its quite unbelievable how soft it really is. The name could not be more accurate and the minty tone of the green colouring just adds to this.
Built up in thin layers of acrylic paint on board and framed in a halo of gold leaf, the foliage shines like the hero it is without need for a flower. The gold leaf catches the travelling light throughout the day so the piece never quite looks the same at any given time.
Perfect decor for a calm bedroom.
