Each artwork is created by hand in my Newcastle studio. My Lino prints are produced in small editions and my mixed media works are one of a kind. Once sold, they are gone for good.

A Scent on the Breeze
Imagine these hypnotic poppies guiding you to sleep like Dorothy and her friends on their way to the Emerald City (but without the wicked witch) and relaxing with the scent of the Buddleia nectar on the breeze and the gentle hum of butterflies and bees fluttering all around.
Both Buddleia and Poppies often grow in the harshest of environments. They’re survivors and share their beauty despite the challenge. In this piece, these flowers are thriving and helping the insects to do so too. Created in multiple layers of paint with details in gold leaf, pastel, oil pastel and pen on canvas, the textures really bring the delicacy of the poppies and the fulness of the Buddleia to the forefront against the ultimate blue sky.
This lively piece is perfect decor for a busy entertaining space.

Snap, Dragon!
Squeeze the sides of these blooms and they snap like a dragon protecting its gold. It’s pure magic as a child and the wonder of how these flowers grow their own mechanism still fills me with awe.
Their edible heads attract bumblebees and look like they’ve been plucked right out of Wonderland.
‘In most gardens,’ the Tiger-lily said, ‘they make the beds too soft - so that the flowers are always asleep.’
Alice in Wonderland
Created in a combination of lusciously layered paints in vivid colours and details in oil pastel, chalk pastels, paint pen and gold leaf, the blooms appear to swoon in the bright sunshine. The piece is deliberately naive in the way the yellow circle suggests the sunshine - we’ve all made pictures as children with a big sun like that.
Perfect decor for an entrance - be welcomed with colourful joy.

Listening Ears
When you first touch a leaf on a Lambs’ Ear plant, its quite unbelievable how soft it really is. The name could not be more accurate and the minty tone of the green colouring just adds to this.
Built up in thin layers of acrylic paint on board and framed in a halo of gold leaf, the foliage shines like the hero it is without need for a flower. The gold leaf catches the travelling light throughout the day so the piece never quite looks the same at any given time.
Perfect decor for a calm bedroom.

Landscapes are at the heart of my work, not always as literal representations, but as emotional spaces. Forests, coastlines and imagined horizons become places of pause, reflection and escape.
